And we welcome anyone who shares our commitment to ingenuity and excellence.EOE/AA EmployerPRINCIPAL DUTIES: Develops reports and measures sales activity, such as increase in sales opportunities and sales history, by working closely with the SMIS team to receive accurate sales numbers. Reported to executive management quarterly Researches, designs and implements marketing materials to sales executives and management to grow customer visit programs usage. This will be tracked by usage rates. Locates, evaluates and manages internal and external resources needed to execute customer visits and special events. Interacts with appropriate BE business executives, directors and managers to execute and assure customized experiences. Example is tailoring presentations to meet customer needs. Works with internal customers to develop a customized visit to meet both the visiting company and internal customer’s requirements, this requires a solid knowledge of entire BE business. Ensures the center delivers a favorable impression of Johnson Controls; manages all logistical aspects of entire visit. Develops, implements, and manages customer visit program presence on the internal Johnson Controls web site. Includes writing copy, updating program processes and best practices on web pages. Manages all aspects of open area space on building 7, floor 7. Maintains database to provide usage reports. Conducts project planning, including budgets and execution for special events on 7th floor as needed. Assists in strategic planning for all customer visit sites, which includes developing SWOT analysis, developing communications plan, tying program objectives back to Building Efficiency strategic plan. Acts a center manager when manager is absent. Performs other duties as required.REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s in Marketing, Communications or equivalent work experience. Minimum of five years experience in business to business marketing or communications role. Minimum of two years experience with excel, Powerpoint and sales management tracking software program is required. This requires business etiquette savvy, working knowledge of Johnson Controls business landscape, products and speaker resources, as well as the ability to interact and communicate effectively with senior executives, sales teams and customers from around the world.
