Senior Demand Planner

This is senior position will drive the demand function of the business by generating the global sales forecast for each division within the U.S. and Canada. Based in Denver, Colorado, the position will also be responsible for the monthly rolling forecast as well as sales forecasts by SKU for each warehouse.

 

Additional duties include: Apply statistical analysis and other algorithms to historic demand and industry forecasts, continually reviews sales forecasts in order to accurately determine product and

raw material needs, measures forecast accuracy and process quality, responds to requests for information from business units within the company, incorporates promotional event activities into forward plans, works closely with sales, marketing, and supply chain to improve demand and sales plans and integrate those plans into sales and operational plans and other duties as necessary.

Qualification Requirements:

· Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline

· 7-10 years of related experience

· Minimum 2 yrs direct experience in a process industry – (Ex - Food, Chemical, or Pharmaceutical)

· Proven experience with Statistical Analysis

· In-depth knowledge of various Forecasting techniques and algorithms

· Forecast PRO Software Experience

· Microsoft Office Applications

· Excellent analytical skills

· Experience in presenting and publishing the acquired information

· Strong communication skills, both written and oral

· Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred

· Proactive /self-starter

· Results oriented

· Occasional Travel Required
