Senior Engineer - Codes and Standards

  Responsible for obtaining listings, certifications and approvals for all new products. Work closely with Product Development teams and Reliability engineers to develop test profiles to ensure all product certification requirements are met. Actively participate and support Moen’s interests on numerous technical committees relating to Building/Plumbing codes and product performance standards development.  Including ASME, IAPMO, CSA, ASSE and others. Evaluate and interpret business impact of new and revised plumbing product standards. Support Sales and Customer Service with resolutions to code questions and conflicts from the field. Research product standards and performance requirements for new product categories and market segments. Maintain and manage effective relationships with internal customers, certification agencies and industry peers active in codes and standards development.

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering with seven years experience in plumbing or consumer product development. PE registration beneficial but not required. Previous knowledge and experience with plumbing product certification requirements or relevant experience in codes and standards development preferred. Energetic, aggressive, self-starter capable of working with minimum supervision. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Willingness and ability to express positive and negative facts and opinions in a public forum. Willing to travel 20 %
