Senior Industrial Sales Representative

Job Purpose:

Grow sales revenue by supporting existing customers, developing new customers, and contributing to the company’s overall sales and marketing effort.

Duties:

·  This position reports directly to the VP of Sales.

·  Assist in managing international Customer/Distributor network by providing sales support, making sales calls, providing training, qualifying new distributors and customers.

·  Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports and monthly and annual sales analyses.

·  Make direct sales calls on End-Users, Distributors & OEM’s as needed.

·  Work with sales team to service existing accounts, prepare quotations, obtain orders, and establish new accounts.

·  Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandising techniques, etc.

·   Recommend improvements in products, service, and policy by evaluating customer feedback and competitive developments.

·   Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports; making recommendations to management.

·  Maintain professional and technical knowledge by periodically attending educational workshops, seminars, and classes.

·  Participate in Industrial trade shows as needed.

·  Contribute in planning, development and production of Marketing plans and materials.

Industrial sales experience, Strong communication and presentation skills, Willingness to travel as needed, Customer Service orientation, closing skills, territory management experience, prospecting skills, product knowledge, motivation for Sales, skilled with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, experience achieving sales goals.
