The Senior Internal Auditor is responsible for developing internal audit scope, performing internal audit procedures (documenting, testing, and assessing risks and internal controls), and preparing internal audit reports.
Planning, organizing and conducting financial, operational and compliance audits, principally reviewing and evaluating the effectiveness of internal controls.
Developing solutions to strengthen internal controls and to mitigate risks, improve profitability and aid management decision-making capability.
Overseeing the work of the audit staff assisting; auditing the most complex issues under review, and assuming responsibility for the daily interaction with and presentations to senior business and operations management.
Perform required testing for compliance with the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
Resolves requests, complaints, or problems promptly.
Maintains effective relationships within the team, the department and the company
Engages in professional development activities.
Maintains the Company’s reputation, both internally and externally.
Maintains appropriate levels of confidentiality.



Requirements


PEDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:
CPA, Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or working towards actively pursuing attainment of one of these designations.
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance preferred



REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE:
Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley Act of 2002



EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Three years or more of public accounting and/or internal auditing experience to include financial and operational.

Availability to travel on occasion.

Good public relations abilities.
Ability to work well independently.
Able to operate all related computer software applications. Ability to manage time effectively to complete multiple projects
