Senior Internal Control Analyst

Job Summary: Support Corporate Finance in Sarbanes-Oxley (“SOX”) compliance efforts throughout the Company as well as identify and coordinate process improvement projects.  This position will report to the Manager Internal Control Analysis.  The position will provide excellent career development opportunities in a growing, international, manufacturing company through structured analysis of our business processes and controls, project management opportunities, and daily interaction with management. Responsibilities: Ø  Assist with the management of the SOX compliance process throughout the Company.Ø  Work with the business unit Controllers to evaluate internal control testing results and implement corrective actions. Ø  Assist in the assessment of the design and effectiveness of internal controls using a risk-based approach.Ø  Coordinate and lead annual process and internal control reviews for all business units.Ø  Perform the Company’s planning analysis to determine SOX scoping and monitor for quarterly changes.Ø  Assist with the management of documentation change procedures associated with SOX compliance.Ø  Perform process and internal control reviews to identify improvements that will reduce manual key controls, improve control effectiveness and efficiency, and reduce the cost of compliance.Ø  Assist with the implementation of SOX for future acquisitions or the redesign of internal controls for changes in information systems.Ø  Communicate with external auditors regarding SOX requirements.Ø  Perform other duties as assigned, especially within the Corporate Finance function. Education and Experience:Ø  3-5+ years of hands-on experience in public accounting (Big 4 preferred), internal audit, and/or internal controls.Ø  A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.Ø  A professional certification in finance (or working towards one), such as CPA, CIA, or CMA, is preferred.Ø  Demonstrated experience with internal controls evaluation, US GAAP, COSO, COBIT and SOX 404. Travel:This position will require approximately 30-40% travel to our domestic and international locations.RTI INTERNATIONAL METALS, INC. is an equal opportunity employer.  All qualified persons (F/M/V/H) are invited to show their interest in specific openings announced by the companies of the Corporation by using the Corporation’s prescribed procedure.  Unsolicited resumes not addressed to specific openings will not be considered.  Qualified candidates may send their resume to lsmaldino@rtiintl.com Such showings of interest must include a cover letter and salary history.  If these items are missing the showing of interest will not be considered.     All RTI International Metals, Inc.
