Senior International Operations Project Manager

SENIOR INTERNATIONAL OPERATIONS PROJECT MANAGER

Responsibilities include proving technical management of projects involving the transfer of powered electronic turnkey products and electronic components, sourcing from international suppliers and providing technical assistance to International Department engineers and suppliers for solving problems during the evaluation phases of product qualification. Indentify projects with opportunity for cost reduction based on analysis of current domestic material and labor cost as compared to international sourcing. Participate in determining acceptable quotes from supplier RFQ and work with purchasing management to negotiate price acceptance. Will supervise manufacturing engineers to meet project cost objectives and schedules, and interface with senior management from international manufacturing companies.

Qualified Candidates will have:

* BSEE or MSEE Degree (transcripts required)
* 10 years' experience in technical management and supervision
* Ability to source commodities such as PCB's, PCBA's, switch mode power supplies, sheet metal fabrication, cable, connectors and other electronic components
* Experience working with supplier manufacturing processes requirements in order to effectively assess manufacturers capabilities for meeting acceptable performance standards
* Excellent communication skills, (written, and verbal)
* Strong attention to details, highly organized, computer literate
* Ability to work well in a fast-paced professional office environment
* Some travel will be required
