SENIOR LOGISTICS ENGINEER
Possessing the fundamentals of logistics in a Department of Defense (DoD) environment, the successful candidate will determine logistics requirements for various DOD and commercial systems, develop and document the Logistics Management Information/ Logistics Support Analysis (LMI/LSA) in accordance with MIL-STD-1388-1A/2A&B, and develop LSA/LMI data utilizing engineering drawings and vendor data..

Specifically, the Sr. Logistics Engineer will:
• Interface with customers, vendors, and various inter/intra-department personnel.
• Assist in the development of media for company and program reviews.
• Participate in proposal evaluation, development and costing.
• Directly supervise up to 5 employees. 
• Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws, including training employees, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
• Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications include:
• BS degree from four-year college or university or three+ years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A working knowledge and experience in several of the following logistics areas: reliability, maintainability, provisioning/supply support, training, technical publications, safety, and human factors engineering. 
• Familiarity with logistics software tools supporting logistics support analysis (LSA)/logistics management information (LMI) development, life cycle cost (LCC) level of repair analysis (LORA), etc.
• Ability to use logistics software tools (i.e. PowerLOG, CASA, COMPASS, etc.) to document LSA/LMI, LCC, and LORA.
• Effective interpersonal skills, communication and organizational skills.
• Team work ethic required.
• Must be US citizen or permanent resident eligible for US Security Clearance.
