Senior Manufacturing Engineer

My client is an industry-leading manufacturer of disposable medical devices.  We are seeking a senior-level manufacturing engineer for our Houston, Texas facility. While the primary focus of this role involves capital project management and manufacturing/process engineering, this is a very lean-running operation and as such, this opportunity offers the chance to be involved in many different aspects of the manufacturing process from the development of new products through to the manufacturing and packaging of finished medical devices. The ideal candidate will have a diverse background in medical device manufacturing with experience preferred in the following areas:  Custom manufacturing & automation equipment design/procurement/configuration/installation Manufacturing/production process engineering Capital project management Medical device validation Design of  parts and/or products R&D project/program management   Consideration for this opportunity requires a bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline like mechanical or plastics engineering, and a solid history of experience in a medical device manufacturing environment. Experience in plastics manufacturing like injection molding and extrusion is a big plus as well for this challenging but rewarding role.   We offer a competitive compensation and benefits package, and relocation assistance is also available. This is a great opportunity with a growing company.  If you think you have what it takes to do this job, please get in touch.  MRINetwork is the largest and most successful search organization in the world.
