Senior Mechanical Engineer

North Tyler Manufacturer has an opening for a product design mechanical engineer (Heat Transfer/Thermodynamics) to assist in product development, Electrical Safety Approvals, and Coil/Compressor system design and matching. Design packaged, DX air and water-cooled air conditioners in the 1-20 ton cooling capacity range.

Experience in latest heat transfer/Thermodynamics, compressor selection, system balancing software from Copeland (Emerson), size generators for Air Conditioning loads for military homeland defense, and emergency response, rapid deployment, turn-key trailer integration systems.

ISO 9000 experience helpful.

Candidate should be self-motivated, innovative, passionate about the environment and sustainability; Be resourceful and able to work either alone or as part of a team; Should be committed to customer service and satisfaction; Have good written and oral communication skills; Project management skills; Process control experience; 6 Sigma Concept knowledge; And a high degree of computer literacy.

Graduate or Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
