Senior piping designer/drafter needed for an exciting new plant project for the food industry.

10 to 15+ years designer/drafter industrial/manufacturing experience preferred, oil or food industry. Relocation included.

Main tasks include:

Prepare general arrangementsDevelop 3-D equipment and piping models and/or 2D drawingsExtract corresponding isometric developmentsDevelop bill of materials and create or maintain equipment/motor listsDevelop or review piping support drawingsConduct or assist field surveysSupervise subcontracted designer/drafting teamCheck shop drawingsPlan and coordinate work with other disciplines

Desired qualifications15+ years industrial/manufacturing mechanical designer/drafter experienceProficiency in AutoCAD-2006 or higherIntelligent 3-D design preferred but not requiredKnowledge of piping standards (ASME/ANSI/ASTM) and mechanical codesSupervisory experienceGreenfield plant piping design experience preferred
