Senior Project Manager

The Sr. Project Manager will interpret the scope of a new contract as defined by sales and management, coordinate andmanage projects from concept through completion, develop and maintain a baseline schedule, adhere to an establishedbudget and interact with the customer on a regular basis.• Assist in assembling the quote for customer presentation• Coordinate the contract review once awarded• Prepare Microsoft project schedules to define project scope deliverables• Be able to prepare bills of material and routings within the Material Master and Routing Template• Become knowledgeable with the activities associated with Technical Services:– Order Entry– Electronic project folders– Procedures and specifications– Document Control– Submittals and notifications– Data Book compilation• Become knowledgeable with the activities associated with P&IC:– Material Masters– Material Routings– Bills of Material– Project System w/ ZPR Sales Order within SAP MRP software– ARENA software / Engineering integration with SAP– Material costing process– SOX Guidelines– Material Requirement Planning (MRP)– Production Orders– Material Movements– Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders• Responsible for the handling of all commercial issues• Arrange regular customer meetings to review schedules, issues and action items• Monitor and manage project costs in respect to the established budget on a daily basis• Anticipate problems and concerns relevant to project management and provide timely solutions• Coordinate drawings and document submittals, approvals, distribution, and revision control• Maintain a strong working relationship with the customer and the customer’s third party inspection companies• Update and maintain the monthly Sales Order Backlog Report• Accountable for Progress Billing Report and customer communication regarding aged receivables• Provide financial recap at project completion• 7-10 years experience associated with project management of manufactured and fabricated offshore drilling andproduction equipment. Experience in machine shop / fabrication environment preferred• 4 year college degree preferred• Computer literate with emphasis on Microsoft Word, Excel, and Project• Knowledge and experience in MRP/ERP systems, SAP preferred• Strong planning and organizational skills; ability to multi-task• Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate technical data to both technical & non-technicalaudiences• Must be able to read and comprehend blueprints All RTI International Metals, Inc.
