Sensitech inc., a business unit of Carrier Corp., is looking for a Senior SQA Engineer. In this key position you will be responsible for testing Sensitech (`9s web applications, databases, and internet services along with creating test schedules, detailing test cases, test plans, and consolidating, and reporting test results. You will interface regularly with Software Engineers, Technical Leads, and fellow SQA staff on designing (`ctestability (`d into Sensitech (`9s products and developing efficient debugging and fault isolation techniques. You will also isolate and troubleshoot bugs (not just symptoms) and participate in code reviews translating your observations and output into streamlined, effective test strategies.

BS Degree in CS, Engineering or IT. Advanced degree preferred. 5+ years exp. coding in C/C++/C# or Java. 3+ years of experience in SQA along with strong understanding of current internet application development technology. 2+ years of Database testing experience, ideally with MS SQL Server. Experience with automated testing as well as stress load and performance testing. 3+ yrs of test automation experience with at least 1 commercial test tool, such as Compuware TestPartner and QARun, Mercury Interactive WinRunner, Rational Robot, Empirix E-Test, etc.

Must be familiar with Windows OS. 2+ years experience in automated performance and scalability testing using a commercial performance test tool and familiarity with UML. Working knowledge of GAMP software compliance/validation requirements is a plus. Experience working in a joint development environment (where development is taking place on and off shore), is a plus. The ability to speak multiple languages is also a plus.
