Service Contract Sales Representative

The Service Contract Sales Representative will increase the service contract sales by creatively analyzing territory for potential service contract sales and plan multifunctional approach to making sales contacts including: 

 

A. Analyzing existing customer data base for potential and referrals.

  1. Contact current contract holders for contract renewal.

  2. Contact current warranty customers for contract sales.

  3. Effectively communicate the benefits of placing units under

  Contract.

 

B. Creating new opportunities by utilizing other resources such as the Internet and other database sales and marketing approaches.

 

C. Makes out bound phone calls to follow-up and qualify sales leads.

 

D.   Manage contracts that are currently in-force including:

  1. Maintain up-to-date preventive maintenance (PM) schedules

  2. Schedule preventive maintenance calls.

  3. Order and ship necessary parts to perform preventive maintenance.

  4. Work with field service personnel to insure they are provided with PM dates to perform preventive maintenance calls.

  5. Track service contract revenues by territory

 

E. Determines customer service contract needs by surveying on a quarterly basis and use information to suggest improvements.

  1. Determine if our offerings are meeting their needs

  2. Determine what our competition is offering. 

 

2. Takes action necessary to close sales by maintaining contact with customers who have received quotations or bids.  

 

3. May travel to customer sites, trade shows, and training locations as assigned.

 

4. Available for other special sales and marketing duties as required.
