Job Category: Sales/Retail/Business Development Experience: 1+ to 2 Years       Job Description   Job Description: Tyco Flow Control (TFC) is the largest manufacturer of valves, actuators and associated flow control products in the world, serving the oil and gas, chemical, power generation, petrochemical, waterworks, and pulp and paper industries, as well as the pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and specialty markets.  TFC generates approximately $3BB dollars in revenue and employs 15,000 associates in over 80 locations around the globe.  TFC Americas has an exciting role for a Service Specialist in our Pasadena, TX location.  The Inside Service Specialist will be responsible for understanding all aspects of the service business and communicating directly with customers, as well as staff.   ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:§ Answering phones.§ Prepare quotes and performs follow-up.§ Communicate with outside sales, sales managers and product managers to determine pricing strategy.§ Support the outside sales group.§ Investigate and resolve customer complaints.§ Respond to requests for literature and product information.§ Answer technical questions.§ Schedule, plan, and track repair activities for shop, as well as inside support department.§ Order replacement parts and replacement valves.§ Act as Team Lead when necessary.§ Communicate with major accounts, as liaison.  Education and Experience: § Minimum one (1) year of experience in this field and/or related education is required.§ Excellent customer focus skills including interpersonal and communication skills are vital for this role. § Listening skills are also important. § Good organizational skills and problem solving abilities are necessary. § The successful candidate will also have strong computer skills.
