About the Opportunity


The National Service Organization honors Altec's commitment to be there for the life of the equipment, through a network of service centers and mobile service technicians strategically located throughout the country. There is an opening for a Service Technician Supervisor at the Alabama Service Center in Birmingham, Alabama.This is an excellent opportunity for the person who enjoys working in a highly motivated team environment and for the person who wants to be involved in all aspects of people supervision. Lead an assigned team to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets. Provide support, including training and acquiring needed resources, to team members. Ensure proper documentation of daily activities. Identify opportunities and lead implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.

QualificationsHigh School diploma is required, with a minimum of five years of directly related experience, that is, supervision of technicians in a repair shop environment with related equipment. Fluency with computer applicationsA Bachelor's Degree candidate will be considered, with less experience required. Degree candidates should have enough demonstrated experience from part-time work or internships to know that technical hands-on work and people supervision is a firm career objective.
