Providing temperature-controlled environments for food and other perishables are essential in today’s global market. Through our Climate Control Technologies sector and Thermo King and Hussmann brands, we provide global solutions for the transportation and retail refrigeration market.





We are currently seeking an experienced ACCOUNTANT at our Minneapolis, MN location for Shared Services.



This position encompasses the following :

This position has responsibility for a variety of month end close activities such as uploads and other entries and account reconciliations. This position prepares the cost center reporting packages for monthly distribution to managers This position has responsibility for a variety of general finance activities such as non-customer deposits, record retention coordination and ACS invoice retrieval for Shared Services, and SOX/SOD activities. This position has responsibility for developing intercompany trading partner relationships with assigned trading partners in order to effectively manage the IC transactions.

On a monthly basis, process journal entries and complete account reconciliations for assigned areas in a timely manner in Oracle. Analyze/reconcile related accounts and provide audit schedules for them as requested. Prepare and upload TRIPS and Pcard detailed information from IR systems. Complete and post intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany AP and AR accounts for assigned IC trading partners. Develop and maintain excellent communication with intercompany trading partners to ensure the intercompany accounts are in balance and that payments to and from trading partners are current.
Code and deposit cash and non-customer payment checks for TK AMR.
Prepare monthly Cost Center manager reporting packages for distribution to managers.
Retrieve all ACS invoices needed by Shared Services staff to support IC coding and processing. Responsible for coordinating Shared Services record retention activities and files.
Assist the SOX Coordinator with quarterly Sarbanes Oxley testing preparation and complete updates to the documentation tool as required. Perform quarterly SOX audit testing procedures as assigned. Prepare monthly audit of CM for SOD control validation. Support quarterly Sarbanes Oxley testing and interim/annual audit review by PWC.
Identify existing processes that could be more efficiently executed within the Finance organization. Research issues, recommend changes and lead the change process as appropriate.
Complete other duties and special projects as assigned.


Qualifications :

Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting
3-5 years of general accounting experience
Experience with an ERP system such as Oracle (preferred) or SAP/Peoplesoft.
Strong PC skills including Excel
