Sheet Metal Technician with A&P License

Agusta Aerospace Corporation (AAC), a division of Agusta Westland, the worlds leading international aerospace and helicopter manufacturer is searching for a Sheet Metal Technician with A&P License. We are strategically located next to the Northeast Philadelphia airport in northeast section of Philadelphia and immediately outside of lower Bucks County, PA.

 

On Tuesday, February 19, 2008 we celebrated a ribbon cutting ceremony attended by dignitaries, parent company executives and employees to commemorate the opening of our state of art AW139 manufacturing facility. In addition to the AW139 assembly, AAC is also responsible for A119 Ke production and supporting the expanding fleet of AgustaWestland helicopters in North and South America. This plant is also provides flight and ground course training activities.

Summary of Position:

Reporting to the Completion Shop Supervisor performs the following duties and responsibilities:Assign task in a manner that is consistent with schedule requirementsProvide schedule updates, through both written and oral communicationsOrganize all work instructions on both job cards and all othersUnderstand and utilize all management toolsProvide feedback on performance to both technicians and management

 

A. Education: HS diploma or equivalent

 

B. Experience:  Minimum 3 years in a similar position with 1 year in the lead position.

 

C. Competencies & AttributesExperience in rotorcraftFormer knowledge of MECAPP, SAP and other related software programs is highly desired but not required.Ability to multi-task with changing priorities, shifting work orders and deadlines.Strong PC skills

 

D. Licensure/CertificationA&P
