Shift Supervisor and Machine Operator

Location – Chicago



 

Plastics manufacturing company seeking shift supervisors, lead operators and machine operators!
Candidate must possess working knowledge of the process and production flow of blown film, ability to translate and maintain production and quality records and operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner.  Assist and prepare for job set ups, verify that production needs are met and preparations are made. Check assigned equipment to ensure safe operating conditions. Verify that all Company and customer specifications and requirements are met as described on extrusion reports. Follow through with directives to assist in maintaining, preparing and organizing production activity. Assist in implementing corrective action measures in coordination with facility management. Other duties deemed appropriate and necessary for this position.
Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess written and verbal communication skills, possess the ability to read and interpret documents. Work their assigned schedule. Employee will be assigned to work occasional shifts outside their normal schedule. All shifts are 12 hours in length with a rotating schedule.
