We are currently seeking an individual for our Shipping/Receiving department. This person will verify and keep records on outgoing shipments as well as prepare items for shipment by performing the following duties:
• Compares identifying information and counts or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify
information against bills of lading, orders or other records.
• Skidding and/or stretching wrapping items for shipment.
• Prepares outgoing finished material for shipping.
• Operates lift truck or uses hand truck to move materials from shipping/receiving area to
storage area.
• Removes finished product from inventory and stages shipments.
• Manually load truck with product that is not contained.
• containers.
• Maintains accurate shipping/receiving records.
• Seals containers as appropriate for material, ie, nails in wooden containers and/or stretch
wrap.

HS Diploma/GED desired

Forklift experience required

The employee must be able to lift up 50 to 60 lbs on a daily basis.

While performing the duties of this job,the employee frequently is required to stand; walk; occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

General computer application skills and basic math aptitude
