SHIPPING  SUPERVISOR

 

Progressive and growing Automotive supplier in Livingston county seeks talented individual to manage packaging and shipping departments (personnel, Inventory, FG Supermarkets, packaging and final audit processes, organization and cleanliness, continuous improvement, etc.) as well as coordinate and manage outside processing of parts to meet customer requirements and plant performance goals in an efficient and effective manner. Qualified applicants should have a minimum of three to five years prior experience in comparable position in automotive supply chain as well as the following competencies:

 

-         Strong analytical and problem solving skills

-         Excellent communication and performance coaching skills

-         Advanced inventory management and material flow strategies

-         ERP and MRP systems as well as DDL and ASNs

-         Lean systems (5S, Pull Systems/Kanban, Visual Factory, Standard Work, VSM, etc.)
