Shipping/Warehouse Advisor

Privately owned international corporation and leading producer of products for a wide variety of industrial applications.

Shipping/Warehouse Advisor is responsible for meeting established schedules through effective direction of the Shipping Team in the areas of receiving, shipping, and warehouse management.  Requires active leadership and involvement with the Shipping Team to maintain good order and discipline in a safe, clean working environment.  Maintains finished goods in accordance with corporate policy.   Reports to Production Control Manager.

Four year degree and hands-on supervisory experience, ideally gained in a logistics department of a manufacturing or distribution company, required.  Effective communication, leadership, and computer skills, and the ability to train and motivate individuals also necessary.  Background in employee development, Lean Manufacturing techniques, MRP user experience, and safety preferred.
