Who we want to hire:

We are looking for dependable people who are able and willing to learn in a manufacturing environment.  Good hand-eye coordination and familiarity with a variety of hand tools is required, as well as the ability to lift 75 pounds without difficulty.  Flexibility in schedule with occasional overtime is required.

 

Who we are:

Prototype Casting, Inc. is a precision non-ferrous foundry dedicated to the prototyping industry.  We specialize in the rapid production of aluminum, magnesium and zinc parts for the product design industry.  We pride ourselves on being state-of-the-art from pattern making through high speed machining.

 

Essential Job functions:

-Learn various facets of making plaster molds, melting and pouring of various metals, and finishing of aluminum, magnesium, and zinc parts.  The proper use of safety equipment is required.

 

Specific Job Requirements:

-Must be willing to work overtime and occasional weekends.

-Must have a valid drivers license and reliable transportation.

-Must have ability to maintain close adherence to directions and procedures.

-Must have good time management skills.

-The ability to learn is more important than direct experience

 

Salary and Benefits:

-Salary based on experience and qualifications will start $9.50 to $13.00.

-Profit sharing, 401(k).
