Software Developer

Industrial Scientific Corporation is a dynamic and growing Pittsburgh-based company and a world leader in gas detection products and services.  We're seeking a Software Developer.

Description of Duties and Responsibilities:  

 Develops new software and modifies existing software for ISC Department ManagersDevelops new features and/or bug fixes in existing softwareFollows ISC Software Development SOP to deliver software on timeWrites functional specificationsPerforms QA drops and Interacts with software QA to complete testingCollaborates with other software developers in solving complex technical problemsInteracts with users and business analysts to gather requirements or understand business problemsWorks independently but under the guidance of more senior software developers

 

Qualifications Required:

 B.S. in Computer Science or related field1 – 5 years experience in corporate software development1 – 5 years experience with C#.NET, ASP.NET, ADO.NETSQL skillsObject Oriented Design and Analysis skillsUML experienceDatabase design experience including the use of ER Diagrams

 

Additional Qualifications, preferred but not required

 Java development experience Unix experienceSQLServer or DB2 experienceMS Certification
