Software/Firmware Engineer

American Panel Corporation (APC) located in Alpharetta, GA specializes in LCD, Lamp Module and Filter Laminating Processing.  APC currently has the following opening:

 

Software/Firmware Engineer(Job # 338001) The person who holds the position will be involved in the design, writing and testing of firmware. They should be familiar with software/firmware requirements documentation and design documentation. The person will also be involved in software/firmware code review.  They must be able to work closely with the Electrical Engineers of the company during design development and testing.  Qualifications include:BS in CompE, EE or CS.  Knowledge of hardware/microcontrollers is required. A couple of years programming experience in C w/gcc and/or sdcc is required. Experience programming assembly language is desired.  Familiarity with 8051 and ARM architectures a plus.  Familiarity with DO-178B is a plus, though not required.
