Software Verification Engineer

ThyssenKrupp Elevator Manufacturing, a global leader in the manufacturing of elevator parts and components has an immediate need for a Software Verification Engineer at the corporate headquarters in Germantown, TN.

This position will develop, execute and maintain manual and automated software tests for embedded control and PC based applications.  Record and maintain test procedures and results.  Provide support to software developers in defect analysis by testing software changes or recreating failures.  Maintain test tools, simulators, and test set-ups needed to perform the testing.  Interact with development engineers to understand and review the test requirements needed to develop additional test cases.

Requirements included a Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or Electrical Engineering; three years minimum experience in software testing.  Knowledge and experience working with software testing using black-box testing techniques for integration, functional requirements-based and field beta testing in required.  Prior experience working with automated testing processes and systems of automated verification and validation test systems for real-time, embedded systems is desired.  Good communication and interpersonal skills.
