Sourcing & Supply Manager

Responsible for procurement of assigned commodities within established policies and procedures. Working with customers, develop procurement strategies for specific purchases or commodities which will best meet business needs. Develop sourcing strategies for Contract Manufactured products that meet customer and business objectives  Lead sourcing and negotiation efforts with global external manufacturers to minimize cost, control risk  Solicit, evaluate, negotiate, and award complex contracts for specific purchases  Administer contracts in an equitable manner including changes, claims, waivers and releases  Act as a consultant to our business leadership and customers by providing sourcing expertise and training as needed.  Lead or participate in continuous process improvement and change initiatives that result in increased cost savings while providing a high level of quality and customer service.  Excellent benefits and relocation package.  Must have Bachelor's degree in business, engineering or related discipline with 8 years experience including manufacturing and staff experiences.  Demonstrated knowledge and extensive experience in a major purchasing commodity group.  Operates with a minimum of business direction, with a highly developed skill in working with people.  Up to 20% travel required. For SCM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, Quality and Engineering or Medical Device / Biotech opportunities; please visit our website at http://www.fpcgboro.com.
