The basic purpose and objective of this position is to provide engineering expertise to develop troubleshooting materials for the technical writers, and/or perform the Point of Contact roles for a given logistics program. In order to perform in this environment the incumbent must work with the Logistics staff and must posses the necessary education and technical abilities to complete the responsibilities outlined below. In addition the incumbent must be proficient with computers and posses exceptional communication skills in order to interface with every department in the company as well as customers and vendors. An Associate degree in engineering or a technical field or comparable 4+ years experience of a technical nature plus a combined 5 years experience in program management and / or troubleshooting development. –OR– A bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a combined 3 years experience in program management and / or troubleshooting development. The incumbent must provide evidence that he/she possess the required skills developed through related experience and necessary to perform the required work. Experience in the area of vehicular design, electrical systems design or repair, or hydraulic systems design or repair desired. Must be proficient in the use of MS Office Suite. Experience with Arbortext, EMS2, and Mil Spec 40051 is a plus. The incumbent must be able to successfully administer multiple tasks simultaneously in a stressful and demanding environment.
