We are an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.Position Summary:This position is responsible for managing assigned benefit plans which may include any of the following: health insurance plans, 401k retirement savings plan or company funded retirement plan, short term disability, long term disability, AD&D, EAP, Flexible spending accounts etc. Works closely with outside vendors to review existing plans and make recommendations for revisions. Will also review and coordinate the merging of retirement plans, termination of plans, compliance activities and administration of acquired company plans. Ensures compliance with COBRA and HIPPA regulations. Participates in the annual benefit enrollment process including preparing employee communication and training materials.Job Requirements:Work requires the level of educational development normally acquired through completion of a Bachelor''s degree in business, human resources or related field. Requires a minimum of 7 years related benefit administration experience to have a thorough understanding of benefit programs and associated laws and regulations such as COBRA, HIPPA etc. Must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with employees, benefit vendors and human resources team. Must have strong project management skills and the ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.
