The Sr. SAP Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the planning, testing, and configuration of a particular SAP module(s) supporting a functional area or division of the company. Responsible for maintenance of the current sustem and assigned to the most complex projects that typically have a global scope and require significant integration with other areas. Typically has responsibility for multiple systems in addition to strictly SAP applications.RESPONSIBILTIES: Business process analysis:Working with the Process Lead, other Business Systems Analysts, and business resource in the analysis and decomposition of current business processes, perform scripting exercises, and the planning of the design of the ERP system to support these business processes. Unit and integration testing:Responsible for executing system unit and integration testing of business systems software. Includes performing the test, making changes in configuration based on results and error resolution. Also responsible for the coordination and testing of other business systems software areas outside of designated function (SD, MM, PP, HR, FI, CO.)Business systems software configuration:Responsible for assisting the Business Process Owner in the design of the business system software. Responsible for the overall configuration of the business systems software. Lead the design of reports, forms, interfaces, custom programs and conversions. Training and documentation:Responsible for developing and proving training to the end users of the particular module(s). Assist in the identification of business processes and system tasks to be documented. In addition, takes a leadership role in providing training to less experienced Business Systems Analysts on various business process analysis activities, testing and integration, and system configuration.Project management:Responsible for providing the project leadership for the design and development of reports, forms, interfaces and conversions related to complex project with a global scope. In addition, may evaluate non-SAP applications being considered at the company. QUALIFICATIONS: Academic/Credentials/Certifications: ' BS/BA in a business related disciplineLength of experience: ' A minimum of 5-7 years of business experience (finance, sales, ITS, marketing, manufacturing, HR')' A minimum of 5 years working with SAP (or another comparable ERP system) at a technical design and development level.Specialized skills/technical knowledge: ' Working knowledge of multiple systems (R3, CRM, APO').' Strong project management skills requiring organization of resources, project planning & managing project budget.' Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)' Strong skills in writing accurate document specifications.' Experience in evaluating and implementing new software and upgrades.SUPPLY CHAIN BUSINESS ANALYST QUALIFICATIONS:Specialized skills/technical knowledge: ' A minimum of 5-years working knowledge of Logistics and Transportation' Previous experience with SAP's Distribution, Shipping, Warehouse Management (WM), and Transportation modules required. Working knowledge of Sales and Invoicing also highly recommended' Must have extensive experience working across all layers of organizations from the executive team, through business domain experts to engineering and project management.'
