Position Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing the direction of multiple Business Information (BI) initiatives across the enterprise. Responsible for aligning BI projects with business strategy, and serves as the BI liaison with business sponsors and executives. Oversee the design of the data and systems architecture for the data warehouse to ensure the BI solution meets requirements and service level agreements. Participate with architecture team to create a robust, sustainable architecture that supports requirements and provides for expansion given budgetary constraints and availability of data and skilled resources. Works with architects & delivery teams to translate requirements into technical specifications. Keeps informed and educated on various data warehousing tools, analytics, reports and components. Responsible for gathering & vetting of business requirements for data management & BI projects. Works with senior business stake holders and interviews end users to determine requirements for data, reports, analyses/analytics, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance. Helps identify and assess potential data sources, and recommends appropriate scope of requirements. Coordinates prototype reviews, and collaborates with governance & delivery teams on project execution.


Required Qualifications:
10+ years project management experience to include 5+ years of experience in Information Services (IS) and/or management experience or equivalent experience.
Experience in multiple divisions and/or locations, organization, or CPG companies preferred.
Supply chain experience desired.
Prior BI experience.
Communications and marketing experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS or related field or equivalent experience.
Master’s degree or other certification preferred.


Key Responsibilities:
Shows executives the potential of BI to meet goals or solve problems.
Participates in the development of strategic BI direction for the corporation.
Facilitates the prioritization of projects and requirements among competing business interests.
Identifies project team needs, and coordinates with various business and technical groups whose support is needed to build or deploy BI.
Establishes BI standards for technology & business processes and assess current BI technical architecture, working with the architecture team.
Measures results of BI projects & initiatives against business-case commitments.
Estimates system capacity to meet near- and long-term processing requirements.
Manages a staff of full-time employees.
Manage $3MM annual BI projects & systems spend.
Program & project management purview across all BI initiatives across all functions in the company, delivering BI capabilities around the world.
