Sr. Internal Auditor

POSITION: Senior Internal Auditor for Macsteel Service Centers USA EDUCATION: BS or BA in Accounting, Business, or Economics CREDENTIALS: CPA or CIA required, CFE, CISA, MBA a plus EXPERIENCE: a minimum of 5 years public accounting and/or internal audit or industry experience, experience in using internal audit software such as TeamMate is a plus, Oracle or other ERP system experience is desired PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES: ? Flexible and adaptable to a dynamic growing company REPORTS TO: Director of Internal Audit DESCRIPTION OF JOB: ? Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits, due diligence reviews for potential acquisitions and mergers, and special projects. ? Develop and apply audit techniques for internal controls and accounting information system testing. ? Assist in building internal controls into the Oracle ERP system currently being implemented. ? Provide recommendations to improve business processes for the efficiency and effectiveness of operations, and the design and operation of the internal control environment. ? Establish proper techniques to uncover defalcations and prevent fraud. ? Prepare reports of findings and review with affected management. ? Assist in risk assessment.
