Sr. Maintenance Mechanic

We currently have a career opportunity for a Sr. Maintenance Mechanic on 2nd Shift.

 

The ideal candidate will possess the follow qualifications/skills:

· Certificate from college or technical school in related field preferred. A minimum of eight to ten years of advanced maintenance experience with an electro/mechanical background, plus expertise in the following areas:

· Advanced industrial mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical trouble shooting and repair.

· Familiarity with safety rules and codes.

· Ability to read and understand electrical, mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic drawings.

· Familiarity with PLCs and computers controllers.

 

Responsibilities for this position:

· Maintains manufacturing equipment in good working conditions at all times.

· Provides trouble shooting and repairs of complex manufacturing and facilities machinery in a timely manner.

· Provides technical support of an advanced nature to all manufacturing departments.

· Provide cross training for efficient coverage of all manufacturing needs.

· Provides instruction and guidance to lower level maintenance personnel and insures total teamwork is effectively employed.

· Trains newly hired maintenance personnel. Monitors preventive maintenance documentation.

· Monitors computerized inventory control system. Perform maintenance shop upkeep.

· Must have previous knowledge of the maintenance shop stock (parts and equipment).

· Maintains a safe working environment.
