Develop, initiate, implement, maintain and facilitate quality national employee training and orientation programs to increase effectiveness of nearly 13,000 employees. Collaborate across departments and operating units and to develop relationships within all levels of the organization. Work with top management to develop and initiate Training and Development plans that directly reflect the overall strategic plan. Lead and manage direct and matrix reporting relationships in both sales and manufacturing organizations. Formulate standardized training and development policies, procedures and improvement plans based on identified organizational needs, changes in culture, products, procedures or services to include the selection and contracting of vendors. Ensure quality of training through effective needs assessments, design, evaluation, resource materials and reinforcement strategies to achieve business objectives. Conduct training assessment through the following: analyzing organizational needs and gaps, consolidating those needs into an organizational training plan, and developing training tracking tools for assessment. Manage scheduling, facilitator certifications and resources within budget. Oversee the measurement of pre and post training performance to validate effectiveness of the training and facilitators.  Develop and implement cost effective learning options to meet the specific business needs of the organization and create a high performance workforce. Evaluate business impact of training/learning solutions (cost/benefit analysis) and have the ability to influence all levels of the organizations as a training and development champion.Bachelor's Degree. Business, Human Resources, Training and Development, Organizational Development or related area required. Master’s degree preferred.A minimum of ten years of industry or equivalent business experience in leading employee training programs, including design and conduct of needs analysis and/or design of training programs/interventions and related materials is required. Minimum of four years of actual employee training experience is preferred.Experience in sales or manufacturing environments is required.Must be self-directed and have ability to work autonomously.Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.An Equal Opportunity / Affirmative Action Employer
