Sr. Manufacturing Engineer

 

High-tech manufacturer with global presence seeks an experienced Sr. Manufacturing Engineer to manage facility operations, implement lean practices/continuous improvement, and support the introduction of new product(s).

 

Responsibilities of the Sr. Manufacturing Engineer include:

· Working with project management to support the efficient introduction of new and enhanced products

· Managing all facility operations including local regulatory needs, ISO and OSHA requirements, PM programs, and janitorial management

· Developing work flows to meet lead-times and efficiency targets

· Documenting efficient facility layouts to meet business requirements using CAD tools

· Implementing innovative lean practices and facilitating continuous improvement efforts throughout operations

· Documenting assembly and material handling process steps and training

· Developing/managing departmental budget

· Supervising 2-5 employees and relevant staffing

 

Qualified team players will possess:

· BSME

· 5+ years of job-related experience in a manufacturing environment

· Proficiency with CAD layout tools

· PC skills, including proficiency in all Microsoft Office products

· Basic understanding of ERP systems

· Ability to successfully multi-task and meet deadlines

· Proven capability to develop and present training materials

· Excellent interpersonal, and written and verbal communication skills
