Sr. Materials Manager

An industry-leading manufacturer (located in Baltimore, MD) and a division of one of the biggest manufacturing firms in the US, is seeking a Materials Manager.   Description: Work with Product Managers in the development of appropriate fulfillment strategies Management of Sales & Operations Planning Process. Knowledge of expected demand, plant capacity (machine and workforce) and proper inventory planning and controlling techniques to coordinate production of all plants. Establish and monitor all inventory goals (purchased materials, work-in-process, parts inventory and finish stock for all facilities). Work with Logistics staff to insure the most cost effective movement of intra-company freight is achieved. Oversight of cause analysis to strive for continuous improvement in health of inventory.  Qualifications/Skills Required Bachelors Degree in Business or equivalent; lean supply training (internal or external); 5-years previous experience in supply chain; Scheduling experience on multiple product lines; Experience on multiple BOM product structure; excellent communication for frequent supplier contacts & for internal customers; Strong presentation skills for internal and external presentations to all organization levels;  Compensation will commensurate with experience.  Excellent work culture and benefits. For consideration, please submit your resume in confidence directly to Ahmed Kurtom ( ahmedkurtom@mergisgroup.com ).
