LOCATION: Southwest Michigan

 

As the Sr. SAP SRM / E-Sourcing analyst, you will have the opportunity to drive process design and software solution implementation work from concept to development, testing, and go live phases, including transition to ongoing support.  You will work with project managers, developers, functional analysts and business counterparts globally on implementing systems that provide the company with new revenue potential, price margin realization and/or sizable cost advantages.  The focus over the next few years will be on designing and deploying global template that will drive standardization across the business units, streamline operations, and create a solid system platform for future growth.  Additionally, you will be able to analyze business processes, players, infrastructure, software in order to design solutions that will be both robust and dynamic, to address the ever-changing needs of the marketplace.

 

The Sr. SAP SRM / E-Sourcing analyst position allows for the design, development, and implementation of global solutions related to the procurement functions. This includes but is not limited to RFQ/RFP, Auctioning, Supplier evaluations, and Supplier integrations processes. Concentration in this team will be on the strategic functions in procurement and some limited operational aspects.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, CIS or a related area is required.  You will need to possess strong communication skills and be able to effectively present your ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences. Very strong analytical and problem solving skills are also required.  Ability to investigate, learn and master new technologies quickly and effectively is expected.

 

Must have:

-          Experience with SAP SRM, SAP, SAP R/3 MM technology, SRM solutions or equivalent in other integrated procurement solutions (including SAP BW)

-          Knowledge of BSP applications and development utilizing Web Dynpro a plus

-          Willingness to document and understand business and technical processes within Procurement

-          Strong interpersonal and team building skills

-          Proven experience in IT projects

-          Strong interpersonal and team building skills

-          Ability to work unsupervised and independently

-          Resourcefulness in accomplishing objectives and completing tasks

-          Strong organizational skills

 

Multi-year experience working with multi-functional, cross-regional teams is strongly preferred.
