Sr. Sales Engineer

POSITION SUMMARY:

 

The Senior Sales Engineer is a part of the sales and marketing functions, responsible for pursuing business with OEM companies.  Under the direction of the VP of Development, this individual will be responsible for customer profitability, targeting, and selection, reporting, planning, quoting and customer relations.  This individual will also act as the intermediary between U.S. customers and the LSL China division.

 

Duties and responsibilities:

 

· Demonstrates leadership by performing daily duties using LSM Core Values/Mission Statement.

· Achieves Strategic Vision, as defined in the LSM Strategic and Operating Plans.

· Execute, close with customers.

· Develop new business with customers.

· Interaction with China division.

· Be flexible and fill in from time to time in various other positions.

 

 

Job requirements:

 

Education:

 

q Completed some college-level coursework in field of Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent Experience.

 

Experience:

 

q 5 years minimum experience in professional sales, preferably in rubber, metal, and plastic components with demonstrable success.  Knowledge of aluminum casting and hydraulics a plus.

q Knowledge and experience about the function of professional sales position.

q Knowledge and experience of China supply chain.

q Knowledge and experience of manufacturing cost analysis.
