Sr. Warehouse Person (3193)

Location Germantown MDJob Responsibilities Responsible for performing the administrative and physical tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, and distributing of materials, parts, supplies and equipment.  Maintain inventory by reviewing packing slips, perform daily cycle counts and put closure on discrepancies. For shipping: pack, coordinate pick of goods, and assure items are ready to load on carrier. Maintain ample supply on hand and order supplies, as needed. Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or invoices. Maintain records of received goods, reject unsatisfactory items, where necessary. Lift heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds, repetitively. Operate a forklift, as needed. Prepare and maintain records of merchandise shipped. Post weight and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment. Examine stock and distribute materials from inventory to manufacturing lines. Experience/Skills Required  2+ years of experience. Good knowledge of the receiving, stocking, cycle count and shipping functions.  Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repetitively.  Knowledge of packing electronics in order to prevent damage during storage and transit.
