Stanley Leadership Program - Brand Marketing & Events

The Stanley Leadership Program "SLP” is a fast-track program that is an integrated process for accelerating the development of our future leaders. SLP is a rotational program in which each rotation assigned allows participants to become familiar with how we do business. The program offers invaluable experiences for associates seeking challenging developmental opportunities to jump-start their careers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Support Stanley Sales and Marketing Teams with the planning and execution of NASCAR and related special events, as well as marketing promotions. This individual will have the following responsibilities in the first 2 year job rotation:
•Assist in executing NASCAR and special events including 13 cup race events, 10 at track customer hospitality events with 1,800 customers, communications to all employees and sales teams.
•Assist in the execution of racing promotions and activities. Work with Stanley agencies and sales teams to support and execute retail and business-to-business promotions with customers such as Ace, Lowes, Aubuchon, Grainger, Canadian Tire, Reno Depot, etc. Execute the Experience of a Lifetime promotion.
•Assist in budgets, purchase orders and contracts. Measure and track ROI from NASCAR and related event marketing activities.
•Assist in maintenance of Stanley Motorsports website
•Assist in monthly Stanley Racing program newsletter
•Coordinate sales team requests for marketing communication materials such as die cast, posters, hats, standees, calendars, activation kits, etc.
•Assist in the execution of marketing communications activities as it relates to NASCAR and other sports sponsorships including sales meetings, show car appearances, driver appearances, plant racing events, etc.
•Assist in execution of our relationship as the Official Tools, Hardware and Security products at Texas Motor Speedway and Bristol Motor Speedway including local sales team activation.
•Coordinate our Top Fuel race partnership with Mac Tools and leverage at track exposure for all SWK products.
•Assist in projects as assigned including SkillsUSA, Hispanic Marketing, Mobile Marketing, Fenway Park activation, Vail Ski Resort Marketing, Montreal Canadians and Liverpool UK promotions and local Rock Cats programs.
•Assist Manager, Racing and Sponsorships with special projects as needed 

REQUIREMENTS:

•Bachelors degree in marketing / business / communications or related degree
•1-2 years experience in sports or event marketing preferred
•Ability to work in a budget minded, matrix environment and successfully serve internal and external customers
•Strong Marketing Communications skills
•Excellent Power Point and Excel skills
