Strategic Sourcing Manager

Our client has created a new position for an individual to optimize, provide leadership and direction for the strategic procurement of raw materials, capital equipment, MRO and logistics services for multiple manufacturing facilities.  Primary areas of focus will include data collection and analysis, supply source identification and qualification, negotiation, contract formation and performance analysis.  Prefer individuals who have a passion for continuous improvement / experience in lean manufacturing or other operational excellence initiatives.  This opportunity is part of a leadership development program and will provide excellent opportunities for growth and advancement.  Excellent benefits and relocation package.  Must have Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline (MBA preferred) with 7 to 10 years experience.  Up to 25% travel required.  Salary plus bonus. For SCM, Six Sigma, Lean Management, Quality and Engineering or Medical Device / Biotech opportunities; please visit our website at http://www.fpcgboro.com.
