Supervising Case Manager

BI Inc. is one of the largest providers of products and treatment services to the corrections community. We are currently searching for Supervising Case Manager for our Rockford office location.

 

BI is committed to using practices that are shown by research to be effective in reducing recidivism. Our programs are cognitive-behavioral and treatment focuses on dynamic criminogenic risk factors.

 

Position Summary:

Responsible for the supervision of a Re-Entry and Supervision Services (RSS) field office, or group of offices, including operational and financial management, staff supervision, program quality oversight and customer and community relations. 

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

§  Supervises and directs all activity in the implementation and monitoring of Company programs for an RSS field office or group of offices using principles of the “What Works” system. Implements strategies to ensure that operational and functional obligations are met.

§  Audits case management services provided to clients to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and Company standards.  Provides feedback and corrective actions reports to staff as necessary.

§  Maintains relationships with existing customer base to ensure a high quality of service, resolve issues promptly, provide customer satisfaction and develop new business opportunities.

§  Provides on-going staff training regarding the technical and client management dimensions of the Company’ offender management system, including effective integration of information, technology and treatment.

§  Provides in-service training for staff in compliance with regulatory requirements and Company policies and procedures.

§  Collects and analyzes client satisfaction ratings for all program services provided.  Generates a summary program quality report quarterly.  Develops corrective actions plans when necessary.

§  Manages revenue and expenses for an office or group of offices.  Monitors, analyzes and reports on financial outcomes.

§  Provides case consultation to case management and treatment staff as needed.

§  May provide direct client services or carry a caseload using principles of the “What Works” system.

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

§  Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with Company policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

§  Supervises a group of employees in an RSS field office or group of offices.

 

Education or Formal Training:

§  Bachelor’s Degree in Human Services, Psychology, Criminal Justice or related field.
