Supervisor, Human Resources

Citation Corporation, a manufacturer of cast and machined components for automotive and industrial uses, is seeking a Human Resources Supervisor.  This position will be located in our Novi, Michigan corporate office and will manage the day to day functions of the Human Resources department.  The Supervisor, Human Resources will administer human resources policies, procedures and programs and will be responsible for recruiting, employee relations, training and development, benefits and compensation planning, organizational development and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) development.  This position will assist the Vice President, Human Resources in the development of an employee oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement and high performance.

§ Recruiting and staffing logistics

§ Performance management and improvement systems

§ Employee orientation, development and training

§ Policy development and documentation

§ Employee relations

§ Compensation and benefits planning and administration

§ Employee services and counseling

§ Company employee communications

§ Salary structure administration

§ Pension and Insurance plan design and development

§ Personnel record systems maintenance and legislation compliance

 

Experience and Education:BS or BA degree required, PHR and/or MBA preferred6 to 10 years of related background and experience
