Lorillard, a leading manufacturer of tobacco products, has the following opening in our Plant Engineering department in Greensboro, NC

 

Supervisor, Maintenance

Responsibilities of this position include planning and supervising the activities of hourly maintenance employees and craftsmen involved in the maintenance of production systems, utilities, buildings and grounds, and installation of projects; supervising maintenance and construction activities within budgeted guidelines; providing for scheduled preventative maintenance of equipment and facilities in assigned areas; implementing company safety and environmental policies.

 

Successful candidate will have a BS* degree in Engineering with 2 years related experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance and construction; experience in planning, organizing, and prioritizing projects independently; competent oral and written communication skills along with effective interpersonal skills.  Must be able to work any of three (3) shifts and overtime and weekends as necessary.  Supervisory experience is preferred.

 

*Education, experiences, training and certifications will be considered and in some circumstances be acceptable in lieu of a BS degree.
