Exterran is seeking Supervisor Materials for our Casper, WY location.

 

Primary Responsibilities and Assignments Supervise materials planning, purchasing, materials control, and warehouse functions Responsible for inventory value of $10-15M and purchase volume of ~$3M annually. Develop Material Plans to support business objectives including customer service, on-time delivery, inventory turns, cost, etc. Identify and implement material planning strategies within Oracle. Manage MRP data and ensure optimization of output. Coordinate cross-functional activities to formulate disposition actions of slow moving or obsolete material.  Generate Inventory Turns metric and manage improvement. Work with Corporate Supply Chain to identify and establish long-term strategic relationships with critical suppliers. Manage supply base by developing procurement plans and actively measuring supplier performance.  Analyze purchase price variances. Establish regional price agreements and contracts. Manage the creation and closure of WIP jobs.  Analyze material cost variances. Develop, implement and maintain an Inventory Cycle count program that achieves 99% accurate inventory levels.  Ensures material control throughout facility. Analyze data and publish reports on key performance metrics. Develop, implement, and maintain department work procedures.  Identify and implement process improvement ideas.

Education and CertificationBA/BS with 5-7 years progressive materials management experience in a Capital Equipment Rental or Manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience with a CPM or CPIM. .
 

Specific Work Background/Experience

Required:5-7 year’s progressive materials management experience in a Capital Equipment Rental or Manufacturing environment, or equivalent experience with a CPM or CPIM.
Thorough knowledge of MRP, inventory management and warehouse management concepts. Thorough knowledge of integrated business systems, Oracle preferred, and Microsoft office products. Demonstrated leadership skills.  Highly motivated and ability to work independently.
