Supervisor/Warehouse Environment

Job Description: Will be responsible for general supervision of temporary warehouse workers in a client facility. Duties include (but not limited to), onboarding of new hires, orientation of new hires, performance counseling and coaching, terminations, employee relations invesigations, worker's comp, and payroll oversight. Will work with recruiting team to ensure client's headcount requirements are met on a daily basis. On-Site supervisor will work side by side with warehouse supervisors to ensure the temporary workers are productive on a daily basis and all of the client's expectations are being met. This will be accomplished through gaining a basic understanding of the client's operation, developing relationships and fostering open and timely communication.  Requirements: 2-4 years of supervisory experience 2 years of staffing industry experience or warehouse experience supervising others Computer literacy (Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Windows) Proven ability to develop partnership based relationships with co-workers and customers Solid communications skills - written and oral Independent decision making ability Ability to multi-task in an environment of shifting priorities and changing demand Some college preferred but equivalent experience will be considered Must have HS Diploma or GED Ability to work flexible hours based on client's schedule including some weekends as needed Must have reliable transportation throughout the work day Position located in South AustinApplication Instructions: Please submit a cover letter summarizing your qualifications as it relates to these requirements in addition to an updated resume.
