Supply Chain Analyst

PPG Industries, an $11 billion leading producer of coatings, glass, chemicals, and fiberglass is seeking talented people for a Supply Chain Analyst position within the Performance Glazings Business at the Harmarville, PA Glass Technology Center.

The Glass Technology Center is located 15 miles from downtown Pittsburgh. The regional area in which Pittsburgh is located, with its four surrounding counties, is ranked 19th in size in the country with a population of approximately 2.3 million people It is home to major sports teams, universities, cultural activities; and also offers exceptional outdoor recreation in all seasons.



The incumbent must be able to assume a leadership role in planning, forecasting, and inventory management for the business unit. The position will also have responsibility for the reverse logistics for re-usable container returns. Although the home base will be the Glass Technology Center, the individual will have significant contact and interaction with individuals at PPG Performance Glazing facilities across the country.

Successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of “hands-on” experience using inventory control – supply chain software such as GAINs or Manugustics. Stong interpersonal/communication and analytical skills combined with solid computer skills, especially with PPG’s Microsoft Office suite including ACCESS are critical.
