Yoh Engineering has a permanent opportunity for a Supply Chain Director to join our customer in St. Louis, MO.Job Summary This position reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer and performs a wide variety of tasks including vendor relationships, purchasing, product scheduling for assembly and manufacturing of the customer’s high performance appliance. The Supply Chain Director interfaces with all levels of company staff and conducts business with both domestic and international suppliers. The Supply Chain Manager plays a critical role in the development of the operation of the business.Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum ten years of experience in the field or related area.  • Experience with high-tech production and components, purchasing and vendor selection needed. • Hardware/software development background preferred. Responsibilities • Manage the supply chain operations, including the selection of vendors, purchasing, inventory of materials and internal assembly and test. • Managing the cost of components and delivery schedule. • Develop preferred vendors and parts lists in conjunction with engineering. • Coordinate factory hardware maintenance and repair as well as service parts and shipment of software updates with field engineering. • Make recommendations to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency of operations. • Coordinate and resolve production and supply issues regarding existing and new products. • Assist in the implementation of the ERP system—including development of user requirements for production, purchasing, and materials planning.Discover all that’s possible with Yoh Engineering.
