Supply Planning & Scheduling Manager

This manufacturing leader is currently looking for a Supply Planning & Scheduling Manager for our Saint Louis location.

 

The successful candidate should will:Manage production planning staff  and scheduling of material flow to meet production schedules and customer requirements Create and maintain a master schedule that supports business forecast, including establishing lead-times, lot sizes and safety stocks.  Analyze demand requirements to identify production and supply bottlenecks and  recommend actions for resolution. Directs production planning to ensure on time availability of products to fill customer orders and on time shipments. Conduct capacity planning and provide input to manufacturing regarding anticipated machine or manpower capacity issues. Coordinates with purchasing department changes and updated requirements for purchased goods and materials. Coordinate with other departments to achieve St. Louis inventory goals. Evaluates and recommends actions to improve on time delivery performance to the customer. Respond to Customer Service, Sales and Product Management issues

BS or BA degree.

Minimum of four (4) years of hands on scheduling in a complex fabrication and assembly environment with meaningful scale. 

Strong demonstrated critical thinking and logic skills with proven track record of success in a complex production and assembly environment.

Excellent and proven project leadership and team participation skills.

Possess APICS or similar professional certification.
