Talent Manager/Recruitment & OD Manager

The Goodyear Tire and Rubber company currently has an opening for a Talent Manager/Recruitment & OD Manager in Union City, TN. 

Purpose:  The primary purpose of this position is to recruit talent into Goodyear, drive organizational capability into the plant, drive succession planning systems, and evaluate and assess the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and talent retention systems.

Primary Responsibilities:

-Recruit talent from a variety of organizations, including universities, external recruiters, military organizations, and outplacement organizations

-Develop measurement systems to assess the effectiveness of recruiting efforts

-Drive plant succession planning systems

-Collaborate with plant leadership to create systematic change and root cause problem solving

-Ensure that performance management process drives required employee performance and that associates meet required expectations

-Qualifications/Requirements:

-Bachelor's degree required-Master's degree preferred

-5-7 years experience in talent acquisition in a large manufacturing organization

-5-7 years organizational development experience in a large manufacturing organization 

-2-5 years union experience

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills

-Proficient Microsoft Office skills

-Superior team building skills
